Helia is a Ph.D. candidate developing algorithms to visualize and analyze large three-dimensional biomedical images. Her current research focuses on developing GPU-accelerated visualization tools for networks and enable analysis of complex structures that integrate both complex geometry and connectivity.

She earned a BS in Electrical Engineering from Amirkabir University in Tehran, where she specialized in neural networks and microcontroller programming.
